What we're looking for
This is a great opportunity to step up into a managerial role in the renewals pricing team at DLG. Motor Renewals Pricing is the single largest book of customers within DLG, and hence it is a very important department where any change is associated with immense opportunity!
Are you are as passionate about pricing as we are? If so we want to hear from you.
Ideally you will have worked in a pricing optimisation team in the past as we want you to take a lead in the team. We hope you have good Radar skills as this is key for our pricing going forward. We also ideally see you having good SQL and Emblem skills, however it isn't essential.
What you'll be doing
Leading the team responsible for the pricing of our motor renewal portfolio, using your knowledge and experience to develop further our renewal modelling capability and ensuring we continue to deliver value for our customers and shareholders. This will require thought leadership and an innovative mindset to test and learn new pricing strategies that maximise value.
We want you to draw on your existing experience of modelling and deep understanding of customer behaviour to help your team predict and set a pricing structure that delivers good value to our customers, as well as taking the appropriate risks into account.
The role also involves significant levels of work supporting our trading, and we will look for you to motivate the team and ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.
Who you'll be working with
You will be working closely with Graham Farmer's Motor Renewal Pricing team as the role involves a lot of cross team collaboration, and long term you will be reporting directly into the Head of Motor Renewals Pricing. The team itself is a sociable and hardworking team that promotes internal development and learning.
