Are you a creative Talent Manager passionate about supporting early careers progression?
We want our talent strategy to help our people become the best they can be, building skills for the present and future. If you have a skill for spotting potential and want to support our mission in diversity and inclusion, this is your time to shine.
This is a role which focusses on our early careers employees as they join and progress along with our own internal talent at this level within DLG. We are creating an aligned strategy for all our people, ensuring we are delivering a cohesive approach which supports our business goals.
We want you to bring your knowledge of early careers talent and leadership to DLG and use your previous experience and creativity to help us empower our people. We are making good headway, and there are already some successful elements in place, but we are always striving to do better and that’s where you come in.
As the Early Careers Talent Manager, you will be reporting into Karen Rudd, the Head of Talent and working as part of the wider Centre of Expertise. You will be working with our Mid-level Talent Manager, supporting the wider team in shaping the overall talent strategy.
The people in HR are a fantastic mix of fun and creative minds, some having recently joined the group, and some have spent the majority of their careers within the company.
This is a role that focuses on more than just delivering talent programmes. We will be looking to you to improve our processes and our way of thinking and help us define our talent strategy to make sure it supports our wider people strategy and business plan.
Your creative mindset and ideas around skills sharing, personal growth and methods of achieving results is what we crave. We hope to see proven experience of delivery and development of an early career’s talent development within other businesses, the learnings you took from that and how they could be applied here.
We want you to ensure there is continuity in approach from the early career’s talent team as our people progress so that we deliver at each stage, so it is key that you work with the wider team towards our common goal.
You will be working closely with our HR Business Partners as well as our People Managers and making sure they have the skills they need to deliver this for our people and for DLG.
Join us and you’ll find yourself in an environment where support, inspiration and encouragement are second nature, and we’re always in the mood to improve. You’ll be surrounded by industry leaders and curious, ambitious colleagues – working together to support and develop the culture we are known for. You’ll have the opportunity to grow - with access to loads of learning opportunities, events and conferences to build your industry knowledge.
In addition to this we also offer a generous benefits package including family and work life balance focused options such as: fully paid maternity leave and parental leave, flexible working, insurance savings for you and your family as well as a range of other optional benefits.
