What we’re looking for:

Do you have a passion for Software Architecture and Development relating to IT Service Management?

Working within a small but crucial team, as the ITSM Systems Architect Developer, you will join DLG at an exciting junction for the group. We will deliver against our future transformation strategy, and look to establish, implement and build the ITSM Systems Architecture filled with Solutions, Systems and Tools which support and improve the IT Service Management capabilities across the group.

Who you’ll be working with:

You will be part of our Service Architecture function within Technology Services providing both strategic and operational tooling solutions to mature our ways of working to become ‘best of breed’ with the technology that underpins our IT Service Management (ITIL) strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure that systems, platforms and solutions implemented (in-house developer or SaaS) are aligned with corporate strategies, architectures, processes, standards and plans.

  • Identify, design and build technical integrations with other systems as required (web services, data jobs etc)

  • Apply knowledge of ITSM based systems to solution designs and project engagements.

  • Contribute to the design and development of Service Management processes and ensure that new services utilise the systems we support.

  • Deliver against regular code release schedules to ensure systems are enhanced in line with business requirements and industry best practice.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation, automation and continuous improvement in our systems and platforms which include all standard enterprise platform types (Wintel, Unix, Linux, MSSQL, MYSQL etc)

  • Business as usual management, including support, of our in-house and SaaS systems which include ServiceNow and SNOW.

  • Expertise with jQuery, JavaScript, Jelly, .NET Framework languages, HTML and CSS is required.

  • Knowledge and practical experience in supporting enterprise type infrastructure is desirable (Linux, Unix, Networking, Database, Windows Server, IIS etc)
