We are recruiting into our Internal Engineering team, based in Birmingham on a permanent basis. As part of this team you will need to be empathetic, adaptable and hardworking and have the agility and vision to lead & disrupt the market.
You will be required to test new technology and embrace new practices in support of driving our business forward to becoming Britain’s Best Insurer.
What you'll be doing:
You will ensure that the customer experience is at the heart of everything you do, treating customers fairly at all times
You will use appropriate judgement to deliver excellent customer performance in line with the Direct Line Group values and strategy
You will identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to your role, interacting with the appropriate internal and external contacts
You will ensure opportunities and threats are handled proactively and in line with the Group Risk Framework minimum standards
Self development to maximise your full potential in the role
What we’re looking for:
Engineering experience is essential
You will be ATA qualified
Experience working in a similar role is helpful
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
A real passion for Data Analysis
Ability to take ownership of workload and prioritise tasks effectively
