Our transformation is fuelling our growth. In March 2025, we announced a major partnership with fleet providers Northgate. We’ve also expanded our rapidly growing roadside patrol fleet – most recently launching new services in London.


Q&A with Damon Jowett – Why Now Is the Time to Join Green Flag

We caught up with Damon Jowett, Director of Customer, Roadside and Network Services, to find out more about what makes Green Flag such an exciting place to be right now.

Tell us a bit about Green Flag, your role and the parts of the business you lead.

Green Flag is a well-established, top-three player in the rescue market. Our ambition is to deliver smarter, faster services and outstanding outcomes to our customers and partners in a way that feels personal, connected and reliable – especially in their moments of need.
As Director of Customer, Roadside and Network Services, I lead a large and diverse team covering:

  • Call centre operations – including sales, service, retention and claims

  • Our Green Flag Patrol fleet

  • A network of roadside partners

  • Technical and support functions behind the scenes

Together, we focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences every step of the way.

What’s one thing you’d want people to know or understand about Green Flag?

“That’s easy. It’s culture.
Green Flag is defined by its people. There’s a real passion across the business for what we do and how we do it. Everyone genuinely cares and takes pride in delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers.”

What challenges and opportunities do Green Flag expect in the next 12 months?

“Recruitment and technology are key.”
As we grow, we need more passionate people to join our team – people who are driven to be there for our customers 24/7, 365 days a year. At the same time, we need to keep evolving with vehicle technology to make sure we stay efficient, effective and future-ready.

How is DLG positioning itself to stay ahead in this rapidly changing market?

“We stay close to our customers and the market – listening, learning and adapting. Everything we design is built with the customer firmly at the centre.”

If you could master a new skill tomorrow, what would it be and why?

“Time travel – hindsight is the most annoying thing in the world.”

Any tips for growing a career in your field?

“Never underestimate yourself – where you start is never where you finish.”
